Katerina Melitsopoulou

MA CCC-SLP, TSHH, Bilingual Extension Founder/Director

Katerina Melitsopoulou, MA CCC-SLP, TSHH, Bilingual Extension is a New York State Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the Founder and Director of Premium Therapy. She earned her Master of Arts Degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Lehman College, CUNY. She has extensive experience working with children of all ages. Katerina has been a Speech Department Supervisor in preschool settings for seven years. She is Trilingual and provides therapy and evaluations in English, Spanish and Greek. Katerina is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), an affiliate of ASHA's Special Interest Group 14 (Communication Disorders and Sciences in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Populations), a member of ASHA's Hispanic Caucus, and a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Nadia Ansari

MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD, Bilingual Extension

Bilingual Speech Supervisor

Nadia Ansari, MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a NY State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist who earned her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Nadia obtains a bilingual extension in Spanish and is also a native speaker of Urdu. Her focus in the realm of speech-language pathology is servicing bilingual and multicultural populations. She has provided therapy in school, clinic, and rehabilitation settings. Nadia has evaluated and treated clients with receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, as well as aphasia, dysarthria, and cognitive-linguistic deficits. Her goal is to empower families through enhanced communication skills, all while celebrating cultural and linguistic diversity.

Karen Steinberger-Berenson

MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD,

Speech Supervisor

Karen Steinberger-Berenson, MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD earned her Masters’ from Touro College. She is licensed in the states of New York and Maryland. She is excited to be back working with Katerina and the rest of the staff as a tele-therapist for Premium Therapy! Karen has extensive experience with Early Intervention, Kindergarten, school-age students, and adults. She has provided services in Charter Schools, preschools, rehabilitation facilities, and clinical settings. Karen has experience providing evaluation and therapy services for a variety of pathologies including, receptive- and expressive-delays, developmental delays, articulation and phonological disorders, and autism-spectrum disorders. She has also evaluated and provided services for clients who have had strokes resulting in aphasia. Karen is fluent in both English and Hebrew. Karen is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Theresa Donohue

Bilingual Speech Supervisor

Theresa Donohue, MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a NY State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist and a licensed Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) with a Bilingual Extension in Spanish.  She earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Currently, Theresa is pursuing a doctorate in Audiology (AuD) at the CUNY Graduate Center.  She has extensive experience providing speech-language therapy and evaluations to children 0-3 (Early Intervention Program) and to the NYC DOE students, grades K-5. Theresa has worked with children with receptive and expressive language disorders, hearing loss, autism spectrum disorder, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, and learning disabilities. She has received training in a variety of literacy programs and has experience co-teaching phonics to Kindergarten students. Theresa is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Anna Bloom

MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Anna Bloom, MS CCC-SLP, TSSLD, is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University. Anna has experience in working with different populations varying in age, skill level, and cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Anna has treated expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, executive functioning disorders, motor speech disorders, pragmatic delays, and other developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Anna has treated adults with aphasia, dysphagia, dysarthria, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and other neurodegenerative diseases and neurocognitive disorders. She has worked in private practices and school settings both via teletherapy and in-person. Anna's goal is to provide individualized care to those in need.

Noemie Bouteyre

Noemie Bouteyre, MS, CCC-SLP, TSSLD-BE is a clinical fellow who received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with bilingual extension in French from Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her bachelor's degree in Childhood and Special Education from New York University. Noemie has experience with the evaluation and treatment of language and communication disorders throughout early childhood, school aged children and adult populations. She has primarily evaluated and treated expressive/receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, and social/pragmatic language disorders in children, as well as dysphagia, aphasia and cognitive-related disorders in adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including university clinic, private practice, schools and rehabilitation facilities. Her goal is to advocate and support clients and their families, and provide individualized care to diverse populations.

Emma Marie Cruz

MS CF-SLP, TSSLD​Bilingual Extension

 

Emma Marie Cruz, MS, CF-SLP, TSSLD-BE is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a bilingual extension in Spanish from Teachers College, Columbia University. Emma has a variety of experience working with diverse populations including preschool and school aged children. Emma has evaluated and treated expressive/receptive disorders, phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, social/pragmatic language challenges, cognitive delays. She has experience implementing speech generating devices to support and motivate communication and has also incorporated pre-literacy development into individual and group sessions. Her focus is to advocate, support, and coach families while celebrating and empowering differences. Her clinical interests include working with bilingual and multicultural populations.

Soye Han

Soye Han, MS, CF-SLP, TSSLD-BE is a clinical fellow who received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with bilingual extension from Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Linguistics from Emory University. Soye is bilingual in English and Korean. Her range of clinical experiences include work with preschool, elementary, and adult populations. She has primarily evaluated and treated expressive/receptive language, articulation and phonological, developmental, and social/pragmatic language disorders in children, as well as aphasia and cognitive-related disorders in adults. She has worked in a variety of settings, including home health, teletherapy, university clinic, private practice, and schools. Soye has experience working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (speech devices, PECS), play-based therapy, and dynamic therapy approaches to treatment and evaluation.

Halley Cromley

MA CCC-SLP, TSSLD

 

Halley Cromley, M.A. CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a NY State Licensed SLP who earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Johns Hopkins University, and got interested in Speech-Language Pathology after teaching English in France for a year. Halley has experience providing services to preschool children (ages 3-5), elementary age students, as well as adults in a variety of settings including private practices, schools, tele-health, acute-care hospitals, and outpatient hospitals. She has provided treatment for clients with expressive and receptive language deficits, developmental disabilities, articulation disorders, aphasia, and swallowing disorders. Her goal is to empower and help people to communicate their own thoughts, feelings and ideas. Halley is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

Pamela Pinos Angamarca

MS CCC-SLP

 

Pamela Pinos Angamarca, MS CF-SLP, is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz. Pamela is fluent in English and Spanish and plans to earn her bilingual extension. Pamela has experience working with early intervention, preschool and school-aged children. She has provided therapy in multiple settings such as home health, schools, tele-therapy, child care centers and private practices. Pamela has experience treating expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, articulation and phonology, fluency, literacy, social communication and developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Pamela enjoys collaborating with families and other professionals to deliver patient-centered interventions. Her clinical interests include articulation, pediatric feeding, fluency and working with multicultural and linguistically diverse individuals.

Addily Garcia

Addily Garcia, MS, CF-SLP, TSSLD is a clinical fellow who received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary arts and science with a concentration on Disability Studies from City College and her Associate’s degree from Queensborough Community College. Her clinical skills have been refined through a variety of settings including schools, private practice and inpatient rehabilitation where she treated and evaluated language, articulation, cognitive-linguistic, voice and swallowing disorders in children and adults. She has treated, evaluated and counseled individuals and families in both English and Spanish. As a second language learner she is passionate about supporting and advocating for multicultural and multilingual families and individuals.

Sophia Triandafils

MS CF-SLP, TSSLD

 

Sophia Triandafils, MS CF-SLP, TSSLD is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Emerson College and her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University. Sophia has provided clinical services to pediatric and adult clients, gaining extensive experience. Her expertise includes working with preschool and school-aged children, specifically targeting articulation disorders, phonological disorders, auditory processing, expressive/receptive language delays and disorders, as well as a variety of developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Sophia believes in implementing client-centered and family-centered care to provide a holistic approach and meet specific individual and family needs.

Brooke Hayman

Brooke Hayman, MS, CF-SLP, TSSLD is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences with a minor in Deaf Studies from Boston University. She has developed her clinical skills working with preschool and school age children (both in person and using tele-therapy) in the middle school, high school, and private practice settings. She has treated clients in the areas of expressive and receptive language, articulation, phonology, and fluency. Brooke is passionate about being an advocate for clients and their families while providing care to marginalized populations.

Ginata Pagul

Ginata Pagul, MA CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Iona University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders with minors in Deaf Studies and Psychology from SUNY New Paltz. Ginata has experience with preschool and school age children specifically with working on social communication, expressive and receptive language delays, functional language and fluency enhancing techniques.  Ginata tailors interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual. She is also fluent in both English and Russian.

Aroob Khan

Aroob Khan, MS, CF-SLP, TSSLD, is a clinical fellow who earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders with bilingual extension from Teachers College, Columbia University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Special Honors from Hunter College. Aroob has developed her clinical skills working with school-aged children, adults, and geriatrics across multiple settings, including schools, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. She has treated clients in the areas of expressive and receptive language, articulation, phonology, dysphagia, and dysarthria. As a minority, Aroob is passionate about providing client-centered care and advocacy to marginalized communities using an interdisciplinary approach.
